Homegrown Oregon Foods began as jams and salsa sales at local fairs and vendor events, in the past 5 years we have evolved into a ready to eat meal prep service, restaurant, catering abilities and have developed a full line of cultured foods.
We offer many services at Homegrown Oregon to help you meet your healthy food needs and desires.
Our weekly food prep has been extremely successful and unrivaled in our area. We offer unique and delicious meals that are, gluten free, dairy free, soy free, grain free and with no refined sugars. Our daily lunch service offers fresh hot healthy meals delivered right to you door, you can dine in or we offer take out.
Our restaurant also offers 100% organic cultured foods! All our ferments are brewed in house and with craftsmanship and care. Only the Highest quality ingredients go into our ferments. We offer 4 seasonal brews of Kombucha and our always available Hibiscus Kombucha is A HUGE IT, we can barely keep our shelfs stocked!
We offer several different flavors of live raw vegan traditional sauerkraut. Always changing with the seasons and produce availability.
Homegrown Oregon is a customer centered business, we pride ourselves in being able to provide specialized solutions to every customer’s needs. We are also committed to be being accessible to all budgets. We are dedicated to using local farms with sustainable farming practices. Currently Bob and Kelly at WAndering GArdens FArm and Inn provide us the most beautiful better than organic produce. Community engagement is a top priority.
Gluten Free Always Guaranteed
Did you know that we are the only commercial kitchen and food prep business that is 100% Gluten Free in Albany? Or Linn County for that matter? Meaning, flours, wheat or even products containing wheat or gluten are NOT EVEN allowed through the door! We take your Gluten intolerance and food restrictions very seriously and give it our utmost attention and respect. We follow all Gluten-Free certification requirements, all the way down to our cleaning supplies. You wouldn't think so, but many times there is gluten hiding in the weirdest places.
We make all sauces and food in-house, we can control everything this way and ensure the highest craftsmanship and quality. Nothing is ever store bought! Cross contamination was the number one concern from our customers, ordering something labeled gluten free and still ending up getting "glutenized" and spending the next several days suffering with a flare up, vomiting, and of course major digestion upsets. We don't want this to happen to anyone, integrity and transparency is our number one priority.
